Youth Mental Health First Aid

This 8 hour training introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a five-step action plan for how to help youth in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance use, disruptive behavior disorders, and eating disorders. Those taking part in this course will join more than three million people across the country trained to help youth experiencing mental health concerns. This training will promote the acquisition of tangible, real-life skills to identify and refer those who need help.
