Wyomissing School District to hold virtual family mental health night

Jan. 22—The Wyomissing School District is making an effort to help address the unseen impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The district will host a virtual family mental health night event on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The district is partnering with The Cook Center for Human Connections for the free event. Those taking part will learn about available mental health resources and have the chance to ask a therapist questions.

Families can register for the event at cookcenter.info/WyomissingAreaSchoolDistrict.

For those that can't attend the virtual event, the district is urging families to visit ParentGuidance.org, where they can find on-demand virtual courses aimed at helping parents.
