My Grandson went for help and was not admitted because he did not show any distress. Earlier in the day he was crying and didnt want to live. He threw his clothes and other possessions all over the yard. Crisis intervention was called followed by police pick up and taken to the hospital. Where they decided he was not a threat. He left the hospital and entered into a stranger's house and another strangers garage. Warning signs of emotional pain and suicidal thoughts: Anxiety, agitation, hopelessness, feeling they are a burden, giving away possessions, reckless behavior withdrawal, change in sleep patterns. He was agitated, giving away possessions, not sleeping and displaying reckless behavior. If the hospital would have admitted him he would not have had the opportunity to enter into strangers garages and houses and gotten into trouble. He currently is sitting behind bars where he is not going to get the help he needs. Thank you so much for your help.
